Synopsis:

Welcome to the private files of Nora Sutherlin, The Mistress.

Kingsley Edge, owner of the 8th Circle BDSM club and Nora’s occasional lover, has ordered her to compose client profiles so the other Dominatrixes in his employ can learn from her expert erotic encounters. She’s the best Dominatrix at the club and her clients always leave satisfied, no matter how unusual their requests may be. And The Mistress’s first five cases are anything but vanilla….

Review:

In this sexy little novella I got to reacquaint myself my favorite Sinner, Mistress Nora.  Oh God, how I’ve missed her!  It was like a day hadn’t gone by since I stepped into her dungeon; even though it’s been a long and lonely road since November.  She’s just as smart and sassy as ever and I couldn’t wait to see what fun she had in store for me.

Well, it’s not titled The Mistress Files for nothing because I  got the privilege of peeking into her secret files of five of her most memorable clients.  Well, the ones she’s willing to share with me…for now.   I was introduced to some new characters and then got to meet back up with some much missed Sinners as well and boy was this a treasured gift from The Mistress herself.

First I got to step foot back into Kingsley’s townhouse and found Little Miss, aka Sheridan, questioning everything in her life and how she ended up here, of all places.  Of course you know Mistress Nora can sense fear but could also sense something else in her as well and that’s all she needed to approach this tiny little woman.  What ensues is a brilliant mix of memories and sensations and was definitely a great way to start my exploration into Nora’s files.  I may or may not have gotten a little flushed reading this one.

The next file she let me get my greedy little hands on was not what I expected at all. But then again, does Nora ever do the expected?  Don’t bother answering that…I can read the expressions on your faces.  In this file I’m introduced to Robert and Cara Bruce. Yes, you read that right…a couple. A MARRIED couple at that.  Robert is this manly kind of man but you take one look at him and you can totally see he has a serious soft spot for his gorgeous and brave wife.  His wife is not like most wives I know, devoted and totally in love with her husband and is not afraid to ask for what she wants.  Unfortunately, Robert isn’t quite sure he can turn off husband mode long enough to give his wife what she wants most.  It’s the struggle between protective love and the love of the heart that brings this couple to Mistress Nora and even though she’s not considered a therapist, she certainly has some therapeutic ways to help them.  What ends up happening here is nothing short of a beautiful  exchange between two people that makes the heart flutter and sigh.  Damn you Nora, you’ve got me all mushy!

The third file in the pile could probably be every guy’s dream.  His name is Dante Burns and yes, everyone wants a piece of him. And you will too.  I won’t give too much away here but let’s just say Mistress Nora’s senses were on high alert for a reason and boy,  they were not wasted here!  All that happened in that dungeon could and probably should be in a copy of Hustler magazine but for now they are sitting comfortably in Mistress Nora’s safe little files.   All I’ll say is this…it’s a good thing I’m not a smoker because I may have needed one after that!

The fourth file…ah, the fourth file. What can I say about this one.  It explores the world of Switches and just how Nora works (both inside and out) when she’s dealing with one who’s found themselves strapped to her cross.  Of course it’s even more interesting when the switch beneath the flogger is also your boss. *gasp*  These two have some serious chemistry but of course I would expect nothing less knowing what I know of their shared history.  This file left me wanting to re-take my French courses and itching to get my hands on Book 6 The King (still to be written).

Last but certainly not least is file #5.  Here I was introduced to The New Sam and I really, really liked her. She’s just your average bartender but her reason for visiting Mistress Nora is nothing close to average.  Of course here, Nora has to put on her therapist coat to get Sam to open up but once she does, Sam experiences something she never thought she would and I get to glimpse into a world that I never really gave much thought to.  And there she did it again…Nora had a lesson and damn it if I didn’t learn something too.  Now you see why I love her so much?!  Also…I do secretly hope she ends up crossing paths with Nora again, even for just a moment.

Of course none of Mistress Nora and her kinky little sinners would be possible without their brilliant creator, Tiffany Reisz. What can I say about this cute and adorable woman that I already haven’t?  I believe I’ve said or squealed it all at some point either online or in my multiple reviews of her other books and what I haven’t said yet, I’m saving for our next “date”. 😉  In all seriousness, she’s totally cute, totally smart, totally and wickedly creative and I just adore her for it.  For as long as she has a pen and paper, I will be there to take it all and you will continue to see me plaster it all over the internet.

Now, what are you waiting for? Go get The Mistress Files and see just what Nora wants to share with you and maybe, if you’re good, you’ll get a kinky little treat out of the deal!   Also, don’t forget to pick up the rest of The Original Sinner books so you can get to know the gang just in time for The Mistress (book #4) releasing on July 30th.  If you like your mind and heart messed with, you’ve come to the right place. 😀

Excellent review & totally agree with all you ‘ve shared. A teaching, eye opening, erotic, witty, HOT read with a diverse group of characters that will have you thinking, “wow I never thought about that….!” AND Tiffany is, with no question, a cute and adorable woman !!

Tiffany is so damn cute it should be considered illegal! Not to mention that crazy little world she’s got us all trapped in *sigh*. The woman is diabolical and I just adore her for it. I’m hopeless! LOL

Well said! Thanks to Mistress Tiffany for showing mercy while we wait for The Mistress. Can’t have too much Kingsley!

It was just enough to keep me on that short leash she keeps us all on but no where near satisfying enough! I can’t wait for The Mistress discussions and I already know how bad it’s going to hurt. Knowing me, I’ll probably like it and come asking for more like always. *sigh* 😉

Thanks! It’s so hard to stay away from Nora, and Tiffany doesn’t help my addiction to those Sinners either. LOL 🙂
