First time in print! The third book in the Nova and Quinton series by #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jessica Sorensen.
Today is the first day of Quinton Carter's new life. The toxic guilt of his past left him in pieces-but one girl unexpectedly put him back together. Thanks to Nova Reed, Quinton can finally see the world with clear eyes. She's the reason his heart is still kicking behind the jagged scar on his chest. And he would love to have her in his arms every minute of the day . . . but he's not ready yet.
Playing drums in a band and living with her best friends are just some of the highlights of Nova's life. But the best new development? Talking to Quinton on the phone each night. She wishes she could touch him, kiss him, though she knows he needs time to heal. Yet shocking news is on the way-a reminder of life's dark side-and Nova will need Quinton like he once needed her. Is he strong enough to take the final leap out of his broken past . . . and into Nova's heart?

“For everyone who suffered loss and learned how to live again.” Jessica Sorensen
That is the most perfect dedication for this book and if someone asked me to name one series out there that totally consumed me, I would most definitely say this one. Jessica Sorensen has created a heart-wrenching story around two characters that are flawed and so emotionally damaged you can’t help but feel their pain yet love them all at once. She is masterful when it comes to dealing with the hard issues life throws your way. In Breaking Nova we see the slow downward spiral of these two characters. Luckily, Nova manages to pull herself out somehow. In Saving Quinton my heart, my soul, and my brain could not take all of the depression, the drugs, and the severity of what Quinton was dealing with. I swear I hit my own rock bottom right along with him. Nevertheless it was brilliantly told and flawlessly brought to life, a depressing life, but life no less. The way it ended left me with a gaping hole in my heart but with hope that things would finally take a turn for the better. It also left me with a strong desire to get the final installment in my hands. Nova and Quinton: No Regrets is very different than the previous two books but just as consuming. Healing would be the best word to describe it.
“Through the right and the wrong, there’s always one thing that gives me hope and that’s Nova. She’s what keeps me going.” Quinton
One very special quality about Nova is that she was persistent and never, ever gave up on Quinton. It was because of her that he was finally “rescued” from the horrific state that his life was in. She was Quinton’s light throughout this entire series and by book 3, the one that really did give him hope that he could finally let go of the past and see his life moving forward in the right direction. She finally makes his heart feel again. At the beginning of No Regrets, Quinton is finally on his way to rehab. He is back in Seattle and about to embark on a very difficult journey towards recovery. From the synopsis you can gather that Nova and Quinton are not together and as frustrating as that may be, it was perfect for this story. When I read “Talking to Quinton on the phone each night. She wishes she could touch him, kiss him, though she knows he needs time to heal” I knew it was going to be a tough road ahead for both of them and for me as well because I just wanted them together and HAPPY.
“What do you want to talk about?”
“You.”
“What do you want me to tell you about me?”
“Everything… I want to know everything about you, Nova like the car.”
Can I just say that I LOVED it so much every time he called her Nova like the car…it made my heart flutter every single time. This book is not your typical romance, it is not lovey-dovey, and it is certainly not smutty, but it has some absolutely beautiful and meaningful moments; whether they are having a simple phone conversation or are physically together. So the healing process has begun, it is a slow progression. Quinton is in recovery, learning to deal with things daily and Nova is leading a typical college life back home. Nova wishes she could be with him, hold him, love him, but Quinton is just not ready.
“It’s one of the most terrifying feelings I’ve ever experienced. Having her want me and need me this much and wanting and needing her this much. It’s unexpected. Undeserved. But unavoidable. I know this now.” Quinton
Even through their time apart, as a reader you can feel that pull between them. I just kept wishing that Quinton would finally let go because as much as his heart hurt by letting go of his past. In his heart he knew that Nova was his future and he wanted her in his life. The way Jessica Sorensen tells their story is breathtaking. She did does not rush, she does not force anything to happen between them, but when they FINALLY come together OH MY GOD I wanted to rejoice! Of course all things that come up must come down and this is where their relationship is put to the test. This is a story of healing, survival, perseverance, and finally a love between two people who deserve it more than anything. I cannot recommend this series enough. All the heartache suffered is worth it in the end. My heart was healed right along with them. I will absolutely be holding out hope for a novella. I am not ready to say goodbye.
“I never thought I’d experience this ever again. Never thought it would be possible to be with someone else like this and not feel pain and anguish, for the briefest moment they’re gone and I am free.” Quinton
