Absolutely Brilliant!!!! Holy Hoover hangover!!! The hits just keep on coming for author Colleen Hoover!!! In November 9, her latest release, Colleen Hoover writes a uniquely original phenomenal story filled with the perfect mix of angst, wit, and romance with an unconventional hero and a heroine who is as strong as she is vulnerable. Two characters that come together in what seems to be the most spontaneous way. Two characters who go through so much, you can’t help root for them to find their happy ending.

Maria’s Thoughts

“…I could tell with that one simple movement that you were really insecure-since you obviously had no idea how f****** beautiful you were-that I just might actually have a chance with you. And so I smiled. “

SWOON!!! I’m pretty sure I fell for Ben in this moment, if not before. There’s more to the quote but I won’t spoil it for you. I had no idea what the premise was of author Colleen Hoover’s new book, November 9.  This was not due to lack of interest, I just like to go in blind sometimes, avoiding even the blurb, and it was Colleen Hoover, so I wasn’t worried. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this story. It moved right up to one of my top favorites. Within the first few pages, I was hooked. I was up all night reading, work be damned. The characters were so well developed and the writing just drew me in and held me captive. I was completely invested in Ben and Fallon.  What a creative storyline and it was presented with the perfect pacing, giving the reader just enough to keep the pages turning. I experienced every emotion while reading this novel. Feelings of heartbreak, anger, frustration, betrayal, hope, and romance made the rounds within my head. Perfect plot twists to make me stop and say, “No way…wtf” I found myself closing my Kindle, only to hurry and reopen the app because I had to finish.

I loved the way the relationship develops between Fallon and Ben. While I’m not a fan of insta-love, I do believe in connections. That feeling you get when you click with someone can happen instantaneously. The dual POV is my favorite because it gets me inside both of the main characters heads. I feel like I know them so much better and while their actions may drive me crazy, I can understand them better.  Their banter was fantastic, ranging from sweet, funny. sarcastic…just perfect. The way Hoover writes someof the scenes will have booklovers hysterical and sighing, as well.

Author Colleen Hoover is such a talented writer and gifted story teller. There isn’t one book she has written that I do not love, some more than others, but, all are amazing. November 9 is no exception. Brilliantly written! Fans of Hoover and this genre will not be disappointed.  Hoover’s bookisms and booksting had me laughing out loud and any fangirl of books and authors will relate and agree. ABSOLUTE MUST READ!!!
