Book Description:

Scarlett MacGregor has lived a very sheltered life courtesy of her over-the-top controlling parents. Having never been to a co-ed party, much less on a date, Scarlett has relied on her books, her music, and living vicariously through her best friend Evie to keep her sanity as she’s patiently awaited her freedom from their rule. When Scarlett and Evie go away to college, Scarlett quickly meets Ashton, Dylan, and later, Mason, and is thrown into a crash course of like, love, and lust. With Evie’s help, she must figure out the difference in the three and which one she wants before she ends up without any of them.Metamorphosis is the story of Scarlett’s transformation from a young, naive girl to a strong, mature young woman and her search for self-discovery and true love.Recommended for readers 17+ due to sexual content and harsh language.Sequel to Metamorphosis, Ambrosia (Book #2), set to release later in 2013.

I’m so glad I got a chance to read this book, because ever since I did (in one sitting by the way) I can’t get it off my mind and stop talking about it. I don’t think there’s ever been a book where you want the girl with two guys! What I mean is, you wouldn’t mind if she ended up with either one because they’re both so damn adorable! I’ve never had that happen before because I didn’t think it was plausible or could exist, but it’s so hard to choose between these two great guys! *sigh* Mason and Ash…. Simply put, you HAVE TO READ the book!

I began by reading the synopsis and thinking it was going to be a fun, easy read that I would enjoy. Boy was I wrong! It was so much more than that. It was AMAZING to me! The characters were relatable, and the dialogue was fun and daring. I really thought it was great. 🙂

What makes me like it even more is the fact that Erin really does touch on every ideal “book boyfriend” we’ve all read about. You can’t deny that you’ve fallen for the typical commitment phobe playboy, the troubled singer/rocker, the sweet, romantic guy or the tough, tattooed hottie with a soft spot. I know I have more than once *cough cough* 😉 …and GUESS WHAT!? All those personalities you know and love are in one book! Erin puts them all in this story with Scarlett (a.k.a. Sam), as she (with help from her best friend, Evie) tries to find her own “book boyfriend.” However, what she gets is more than she could’ve ever imagined or even handle.

This isn’t just a book about a young girl finding romance, it’s also about self discovery and change. Definitely one of my instant favorites! Check it out!
