Songs 1-4 (Son of a Preacher man to April Skies): These songs were playing at O’Malley’s Pub the night that Gabrielle took a chance and flirted with Braden. I picked them because they all have a very sexy rhythm to them and they just seemed to set the mood. Because they’re older songs, though, I mentioned the jukebox being really cool. All but Radioactive are actually mentioned.

I’m in the Mood is the song that Stan, the Bluesman plays for Gabrielle and Braden on their first date.

Need Your Love So Bad is the song Braden puts on to play the first time that he and Gabrielle share a night of passion.

Blue Moon and Dream a Little Dream of Me are songs that Braden and Gabrielle dance to together at the fundraiser.

I Just Want to make Love to You and At Last are just two jazz/blues songs that reminded me of Gabrielle and Braden and their relationship. The Muddy Waters song reminds me of Braden and the Etta James reminds me of Gabrielle.

Silber was a criminal defense attorney who got up each morning, donned her power suit and sensible pumps, downed a gallon of coffee and set out to “fight the good fight” while trying to not go insane. Having a dark sense of humor and a sarcastic wit helped — a lot. Another thing that helped was reading. As escapism was the goal, she liked to read romance novels, especially really funny ones and really sexy ones. Then one day something beautiful happened — she read one that was both funny and sexy at the same time.
