Graham Malone is my roommate, my personal eye candy, the reason I get up in the morning smiling (that could be from the illicit dreams I have about him too, I suppose. Let's move on.). He's also beautiful to look at, but his heart is where his true beauty lies. Take away the exterior and the interior still shines.
I love him. I mean, I'm pretty sure I do, having never been in love before. Anyway, it seems legit.
And now his brother Blake is here, and, well, he's the complete opposite of Graham. Sarcastic, brooding, and totally available. But he's leaving soon, and Graham's the one I want. I shouldn't have to remind myself of this, right? I wouldn't have to if Blake would quit looking at me like I'm something yummy and he's starving.
Here's a toast to roomies; the ones you should never fall in love with. Or something.

~ Michelle’s 4-Star Review ~
“I am constantly confused by you, always surprised, and continually shown why you are so very special to me.”
Graham and Kennedy have been roommates for over a year.
Graham’s estranged brother Blake shows up and is interested in Kennedy.
Kennedy has strong feelings for Graham but is intrigued by Blake.
Graham has secretly been hiding his feelings for Kennedy.
Graham does not want Kennedy around Blake.
That’s pretty much the gist of the story.
Roomies is told from Kennedy’s POV, therefore, and you’ll know everything that she says and thinks. Honestly, I really did not like Kennedy’s character one bit nor could I connect with her. I really have a hard time relating to people who use humor as a defense mechanism all the time. And truthfully, Kennedy was never, ever serious. There was one scene between Kennedy and Blake that was extremely serious and yet Kennedy was being sarcastic and joking around. Did I mention that she was annoying? I could really count on one hand how many times the book made me laugh yet many readers stated they laughed throughout the whole book. I think I would have enjoyed Kennedy’s character if she weren’t sarcastic one hundred percent of the time.
Although Graham and Blake are brothers (well half-brothers). they have very different personalities and redeeming qualities. But I liked both of their characters, and I really enjoyed the scenes they had together–minus Kennedy. She truly was a pain in the ass at times.
Roomies started off very slow, and I have to say I really had a hard time continuing with the book. It wasn’t until about fifty percent into it that I did start to enjoy it. Plus, I am a huge fan of Lindy Zart’s writing. I think she is a force to be reckoned with, and I would recommend her books to fans of Colleen Hoover’s writing. I must mention that many times during the dialogue I could not tell who was speaking and would have to backtrack.
With Roomies I think you will either love it, or it will drive you nuts. But again, Lindy is a great writer, and I did end up loving the second half of the book. Now, having said that, I would really be interested in reading Blake’s story.
