Orpheus--To most he's an enigma, a devil-may-care rogue who does whatever he pleases whenever he wants. Now this loose cannon is part of the Eternal Guardians--elite warriors assigned to protect the human realm--whether he likes it or not.
Orpheus has just one goal: to rescue his brother from the Underworld. He's not expecting a woman to get in the way. Especially not a Siren as gorgeous as Skyla. He has no idea she's an assassin sent by Zeus to seduce, entrap, and ultimately destroy him.
Yet Skyla herself might have the most to lose. There's a reason Orpheus feels so familiar to her, a reason her body seems to crave him. Perhaps he's not the man everyone thinks... The truth could reveal a deadly secret as old as the Eternal Guardians themselves.

I am thrilled to have stuck with the Eternal Guardian Series by Elisabeth Naughton. In Enraptured, Naughton’s plotting, world building, and characters where blended into an electrifying urban fantasy story. If you follow my reviews you will know that I found Naughton’s first books in this series at times confusing and befuddled; but I still was entranced by the premise of the series and I kept reading. I kept seeing Naughton hone he craft like a diamond cutter, who is given a rough diamond and with skill brings about utter sparking magic. In Enraptured, the story is faceted and sparkles, as the author has hit her stride. I so excited to see where she takes these heroes and their stories, as she blends action and greek mythology to bring action packed tales of love and adventure. The plot centers around Orpheus, the bad boy guardian, who has an evil side. He smacked in the face by a no nonsense kick ass heroine named Skyla. I could say that sparks fly, but that would be understatement, as the two are the towering inferno; and someone is going to get burned.
