Page one and I am already thinking great another straight on porn book. No storyline, no character development just sex. Now I’m not saying there is anything wrong with a book that just contains sex, but personally I prefer more than just porn in the written form.
Now having said that I did not close my book and move on, I continued reading and OMG everything I never expected from this book happened right before my eyes.
Characters written with such conviction and emotions exploded upon the pages. Characters presented in such a way, the visual of each and every character in this story burned in front of my eyes.
A storyline that held not only suspense, intrigue, fascination, desire and so many twists and turns. This author had my mind reeling not knowing what to expect next. Just as I thought I had a handle on how the story would play out, the author in such a creative fashion lead me down paths I never knew existed.
The emotional side to this series was overpowering! Hate, lust, revenge, desire, confusion, shock, surprise, fear, longing and need are a few that overpowered my senses.
How much are you willing to sacrifice? Does one person have the power to ruin, love, hate, share, beat, seduce and expose you for who you really are? Or is who you really are the person you present to the world? Are you willing to set safe free? Or are you going to play it safe and tuck away the temptations that taunt?
This series starts out aggressively, bringing us characters so charismatic and compelling I found myself surrendering to the authors words without ever knowing it. The twists and turns were sensational and I ended up reading the entire series within one night.
Explicit, erotic, and forbidden and I loved every word and can’t wait to read more from this author.
