Katy Evans has done it again!! I LOVED her REAL series and Manwhore is the start of what I’m sure will be a fantastic series. Manwhore is sexy, fun, sweet, frustrating and not what I expected. Author Katy Evans surprised me in a very good way. One of the reasons I like to read a book blind is to avoid having preconceived notions. It was my own notions I had to avoid. The title and tag line had me thinking I knew how it was going to be, and while not completely wrong, Katy Evans had some cool twists I really liked!

I think the premise was unique and captured my attention. I found myself reading quickly because I had to know what was going to happen. I like it when the reader is privy to knowledge the character(s) may not know yet. At the same time, this can be frustrating because, as the reader, you’re waiting for how and when the information will be revealed.

Katy Evans has a way of writing hot, sexy, alpha men. Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint is swoon worthy, sizzling and definitely your next BBF!! Cocky, wealthy, gorgeous and charming, he had me from the start and I’m calling “DIBS!!” I truly enjoyed watching his character evolve and getting to the heart of him when….BAM…the book ends and I have to wait for book 2 on bated breath, but I can say Saint is worth the wait!!!

I enjoyed the banter between Saint and our heroine, Rachel Livingston. In fact, one of the things I do wish there had been more of was dialogue between them and less narration.  There was humor, tension, chemistry and more. The sex scenes??? Steamy, scorching and oh so good, as you’d expect from author Katy Evans. Fans of her books will not be disappointed. Great read. 4 stars for me. Looking forward to the next one!

One of my favorite of many lines in this book but this one made me love the hot mess that were Saint and Rachel even more. Together they were explosive! Maria is spot on with her thoughts on Manwhore. This is truly Katy Evans at her best! I devoured this book and enjoyed every bit of that SEXY AS SIN Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. I totally call DIBS on him! 😉 This was a 4.5 star read for me and I am now anxiously awaiting Manwhore +1 coming later this year.
