He never meant to hurt her.
Levi “Painter” Brooks was nothing before he joined the Reapers motorcycle club. The day he patched in, they became his brothers and his life. All they asked in return was a strong arm and unconditional loyalty—a loyalty that’s tested when he’s caught and sentenced to prison for a crime committed on their behalf.
Melanie Tucker may have had a rough start, but along the way she’s learned to fight for her future. She’s escaped from hell and started a new life, yet every night she dreams of a biker whose touch she can’t forget. It all started out so innocently—just a series of letters to a lonely man in prison. Friendly. Harmless. Safe.
Now Painter Brooks is coming home… and Melanie’s about to learn that there’s no room for innocence in the Reapers MC.

Maria’s Thoughts:
WOW!! Joanna Wylde continues to amaze and captivate me with her writing in this newest Reaper’s MC installment.
Reaper’s Fall is Painter’s and Mel’s story. And what a story it is. There is palpable chemistry, emotional angst, fantastic banter between all characters, and a twisted kind of love. What more could a reader want?
Painter’s character drew me in from the beginning and held me right to the end. He’s gorgeous, sexy, talented and dangerous. But there’s depth to him. His reasoning, although skewed, shows caring, compassion, loyalty and protectiveness. His struggle with his feelings for Mel With all his faults, and in spite of his flaws, one can’t help falling for him, even when he screws up royally.
“I was truly, deeply, and utterly f***ed, because I f***ing loved this girl…and she wasn’t for me.”
Melanie is young, smart, and sassy. Loved her character, which is refreshing because, unfortunately, I find, in most novels, the leading lady is somewhat annoying. Not Mel. I even loved her reluctance to get into a relationship with Painter because of the MC life. It gave the story a sense of realism. Yes, insta-lust but no insta-love.
“I wanted to lick him, to see if he tasted as good as he smelled.”
I really love their story and I love that it is told in dual POV. Being in Painter’s head is awesome. I feel I really got to know him, maybe better than Mel did at times. Dual POV is my favorite. The banter between them is fantastic, sometimes funny, sometimes snarky. The highs and lows of their relationship were believable. Loved it! I also truly enjoyed the secondary characters and plotlines. They enhanced the main story. Some scenes had me laughing out loud and some twists had me holding my breath. The writing flowed and pacing was perfect. I could not put this book down. Author Joanna Wylde had me from start to finish. I devoured every word. Fans of her series and the MC genre will not be disappointed. Must read!!!! Cannot wait for more!!
