My Thoughts
This is so much more than an erotic, rock ‘n roll love story. It’s a journey into the lives of one band, one woman and their families. While the book centers around the band, their music and living the rock ‘n roll dream, the author does an incredible job of interweaving mystery, intrigue, love confusion and hope.
The characters each hold their own unique quality. Every character plays a critical role in bringing this all-consuming story full circle. We have the two leading characters, the band members, the parents, the lawyer, the friends, the fans and the industry crew. All characters, large and small are written to perfection. Through the author’s words we are given a perfect visual and can feel each and every emotion. I loved how the author had me melting into one character, second guessing another and provoked feelings of mistrust and dislike towards others.
I melted into the love stories that play out within the pages of this series. The author treats us to not one but two very different relationships. I sighed, I cringed, I melted, I hoped. It was the perfect blending of two very different relationships.
This series encompasses mystery, intrigue, suspense, romance and love. It plays heavily on emotion, lust, desire, despair and hope. I enjoyed every word and can’t wait to read Candy J Starr’s next release.

Candy J. Starr used to be a band manager until she realised that the band she managed was so lacking in charisma that they actually sucked the charisma out of any room they played. “Screw you,” she said, leaving them to wallow in obscurity – totally forgetting that they owed her big bucks for video equipment hire.
Candy has filmed and interviewed some big names in the rock business, and a lot of small ones. She’s seen the dirty little secrets that go on in the back rooms of band venues. She’s seen the ugly side of rock and the very pretty one.
