Huge MIC drop at the end of this eleventh book in the Maiden Lane series by Elizabeth Hoyt. If you are a fan of Hoyt, the Maiden Lane series or a new reader to this series, no matter what this book is a sure fire hit. It has everything a reader could want in a historical romance and is one of the best in the series. Not since the Duke of Midnight has a Maiden Lane book had this much adventure and sword play. The Ghost of St. Giles has been reincarnated and Alf the all knowing informant street urchin is now in the title roll. The Duke of Pleasure is an solidly written historical romance that those of us who salivate at a sexy alpha hero are in for one pleasurable ride. The hero in this story is the kings spy Hugh Fitzroy. There are a lot of twist and turns and a huge plot twist at the end of this book. The book is filled with romance, jealousy, danger and steamy sexy times like only Hoyt can write. I highly recommend this title.
