I LOVE the Cold Fury Hockey series by Sawyer Bennett and up until now I had two favorites tied for #1, Alex and Zack. Sorry boys, but Max has taken over the top spot.
Max was the ultimate romance hero: patient, romantic, loving, funny, wonderful, a smidge of possessiveness, a friend and completely worth swooning over.
Jules, like most of the women who bring the men of the Cold Fury to heel, was beautiful, strong, independent and proud. She’s an overworked single “mom” who gives Magnificent Max a chance to be in her life along with the children. Who the hell wouldn’t?
With Max by her side, Jules deals with her pride and insecurities and holy hell the hotness that is the sex between these two. If you’ve read the other books in this series or anything written by this author, then you know you will not be disappointed.
I can’t say too much without spoiling it so just know that you will fall madly in love with this man who knows what he wants and stops at nothing to get it. We all want our very own Max and since some of use these books to take us away from the real world, enjoy your return to Raleigh or if it’s your first visit, go back and start from the beginning and find that you’ll never want to leave.
