From New York Times bestselling author, Samantha Towle, comes a new standalone romantic comedy.

Vaughn West, Hollywood heartthrob, has been at the top of his game for years. He thinks he’s untouchable—until a betrayal brings him spiraling down. Now, everyone pities him, and if there’s one thing Vaughn hates, it’s pity.

After a few months of working his way through every available actress, pop star, model, and waitress in California, Vaughn needs to get his life back on track and focus on what he does best—making hit movies.

Charlotte Michaels is in love. Just not with one person.
Louis Vuitton…
Christian Dior…
Valentino…
Gucci…
And the list goes on.

Sadly, Charly’s limited bank account doesn’t allow her those luxuries, and the closest she gets are lucky finds in charity shops and working closely with some of those names in her job as a wardrobe assistant.

Now, Charly has landed the mother of all jobs—working on the new Vaughn West movie. Excited doesn’t even cut it.

Only things don’t go as planned, and it turns out that Vaughn is actually a jerk. A hot jerk, but a jerk nonetheless.

So, why do their clothes keep falling off whenever they’re around each other? And why can’t Charly keep her mind in the closet and off Vaughn?

Getting mixed up with a smart-mouthed, fashion-obsessed wardrobe assistant is the last thing Vaughn needs.

Getting mixed up with an arrogant, self-centered, obnoxious, jumped-up actor who has a lack of respect for fashion is the last thing Charly needs.

Things are about to get hot, dirty, and messy in Hollywood. Very messy. Especially if Charly’s closely guarded secret falls out of her closet.

Yesi’s Thoughts

Where to begin with my thoughts?! I have so much to say!!! Wardrobe Malfunction is such a delightful read and while I expected it to be good, it is a Samantha Towle book after all, I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. I laughed, I swooned, and I fell head over heels in love with Vaughn West. This is by far my favorite Samantha Towle book since The Mighty Storm and coming from me, the person who still holds TMS as one of my all time favorites, this is huge.

Wardrobe Malfunction tells the story of Vaughn West, one of the hottest Hollywood actors on the planet, and Charlotte Michaels, aka Charly, who lands a job on his latest movie. Charly has been assigned to be his wardrobe assistant and from the moment she starts her job and has a slight mishap during a fitting the humor takes off. There were some seriously laugh out loud moments right off the bat and once these two realized that their chemistry was undeniable, Vaughn’s self imposed (and studio encouraged) no sex ban goes out the window! The sparks fly between these two and they have some hot, steamy, and yes, dirty sex… great scenes I tell you. LOL! Seriously though, having to keep their action between the sheets a secret and spending so much alone time together begins to feel like more to both of them.

How will their relationship survive? Do they even have a relationship? Some of my favorite moments in this book were those quiet ones that had me really seeing the deeper side of Vaughn, a sweet, vulnerable side. And Charley? She is equally charming, kind, and deserved the world. This is a story like no other and Ms. Towle does a fantastic job in making the reader simply feel. I was rooting for Vaugh and Charley from the very beginning and I could not have been happier with the outcome. Wardrobe Malfunction is already an instant favorite and one of the best reads of 2017 so far!
