Synopsis
The king in my world fell and a new one slid into place.

Author K. Webster outdid herself if that’s possible. This series is so twisted and disturbing, a total mindf***. This Isn’t Fair, Baby is book 6 and it’s just as crazy good as book 1. That is no small feat to accomplish, usually, books in a longer series tend to lose something. Not so here which is a testament to her creativity. Just when I think it can’t get any crazier, BOOM…Author K. Webster drives full speed ahead to crazy town with the batshit crazy flag flying high. And I loved every dark, deranged word. Diego and Vee are amazing. No damsel in distress here, even with everything she has been through.

She isn’t kidding. This book is off the charts HOT. The sex scenes are graphic and hardcore. The passion is intense. The connection between the hero and heroine is a living entity. The challenges they face are unbelievable. There is danger and betrayal everywhere.
“Heroes are for fairytales.”
I have to disagree because if ever there were a hero, Diego is one. Flawed, devious, bloodthirsty but, still, a hero. He loves and protects what is his fiercely. He has a past, secrets and a weakness. Vee is another hero. She does not let her heinous situation bring her down. She uses it to fuel her fire for revenge. Together, they are unstoppable.
Author K. Webster had me hooked from start to finish. I devoured this book. My heart racing and my head shaking as I turned the pages, desperate for what would happen next. Esteban continues to be the disgustingly perfect villain, while Oscar was a disappointment but that couldn’t be helped because it worked with the story. I love that Webster stayed true to the story rather than force or contrive something that wouldn’t make sense.
And just when I think my blood pressure will return to normal, author K. Webster leaves me with an ending that has me waiting with baited breath for the next and final book in this wild series.
Take heed of her warning. The books must be read in order to fully appreciate the story and it is not for the faint of heart. This series will play with your mind and possibly leave you rocking in the corner. If you love dark, disturbing, deranged, like I do, this series is for you. Love it!!!
