Amazing conclusion to a fantastic trilogy! Author Arell Rivers is brilliant. To Have and To Hold is book 3 in The Hold series and the finale to Cole and Rose’s story.

Where book 1 was written in Cole’s POV and book 2 in Rose’s, To Have and To Hold is told in alternating POV, which I love because we get to be inside each character’s head, getting to know them on a deeper level. We also get a peek inside the minds of some other characters through their POV.

I love how author Arell Rivers takes the story full circle. She picks up effortlessly where book 2 left us. Rose continues to develop as a strong, independent character. I love that she’s not weak or bitchy either. And Cole is just perfect. He is talented, sexy, protective, caring but not a wimp. He’s cocky and sweet. I love their banter and their attraction is off the charts. Author Arell Rivers can write some sizzling, steamy scenes.

To Have And To Hold is more than just the story of Rose and Cole. It also focuses on their own journey to fulfill their dreams, separate and together. There are some twists and suspenseful moments, keeping me on the edge. Not sure what was going to happen during some tense moments, I was rooting for an HEA. I also love the way author Arell Rivers handles Greta, who I hated from book 1.

The Hold series has everything you want in a rock star romance. Each book is just as good as the first. A brilliant debut from author Arell Rivers. Loved Cole & Rose’s story. It is romantic, sexy, sweet. There is some drama, angst and suspense. There are characters in this series whose stories I can’t wait to read. Looking forward to more from this author. Highly recommend this series, which must be read in order. You won’t be disappointed. Trust me.

About Arell Rivers

For as long as I can remember, I have been lost in a book. During my senior year in college, I picked up a Danielle Steel novel … and instantly was hooked on romance.

I started writing my first novel, No One to Hold, because the characters were screaming at me to do so. The story started coming out in my dreams and attacking me in the shower, so I took to the computer to shut them up. But they kept talking.

Born and raised in New Jersey, I have what some may call a “checkered past.” Prior to discovering my passion for writing romance, I practiced law, was a wedding and event planner and even dabbled in marketing. I live with a very supportive husband and two mischievous cats. When not in my writing cave, I can be found making dinner in the crock pot, working out with Shaun T or hitting the beach.
