"This is the reason I called her my angry girl in the first place. I was teasing her back then, but the truth of the matter is that she impressed me. She blew me away with her strength of character and her fire. She’s not just angry. She’s fierce. She’s determined. She’s strong. She’s brave as f#*$. She is everything she needs to be in order to withstand being in love with a man like me, and I am eternally grateful for that fact."

Zeth Mayfair is on a mission to take care of business in New York. The only problem? The Babieri family seem intent on taking care of him. Permanently.

Sloane Romera's just beginning to wrap her head around the idea of being a mother. When she's shoved into the back of a black panel van without so much as the chance to scream, she finally realizes she'll do whatever it takes to protect the growing child inside her.

...Seattle had better prepare for fireworks

~ Maria’s Review ~

Our beloved fucked up hero, Zeth  Mayfair, is back with a vengeance and his trusty black duffel. This gorgeous, badass alpha is no joke when it comes to protecting those he loves and what is his. Wicked Things is book 3 in the Chaos & Ruin series and it is fantastic. Author Callie Hart does it again.

I have loved Zeth ‘MotherF*****g’ Mayfair since I met him in Deviant, book 1 in The Blood & Roses series. He is the perfect alpha hero. He is gorgeous, dangerous, protective and complex. Perfectly imperfect and when he loves, he loves with everything he has. But, when he hates, is threatened, or those he loves are threatened, Zeth is judge, jury and executioner, ready to deliver his form of justice.

Wicked Things continues the story of Zeth and Sloane after Blood & Roses. It picks up seamlessly where Savage Things left off. Zeth and Sloane just want to live as normal a life as they can, but, his old life just won’t let them go. They face familiar enemies from the past and present. There is danger, heartbreak, violence, and twists. I love the crossover characters from the Hell’s Kitchen series. It creates a saga-like story. Everyone is connected.

The relationship between Zeth and Sloane is the stuff dreams are made of. Steamy, sexy, erotic. Their banter is witty, sarcastic, and hot. The love is amazing. Together, they are unstoppable. They make each other better, bringing out the best in one another.  And that Epilogue?! Endearing, hysterical, and simply perfect!

Of course, I absolutely adore Mason and hope to read more of his story. He goes through a great deal and is lost. Zeth takes him under his wing. I look forward to seeing how his character develops. *Hint, hint Callie Hart*

Author Callie Hart is brilliantly creative and writes amazing dark, alpha heroes and sassy, strong heroines with a vivid, fast-paced story filled with twists, steam, and drama. Highly recommend this book and this series, as well as the Blood and Roses series that started it all.

About Callie Hart

Callie has experienced many changes throughout her life, and gone through many ups and downs that have all worked towards shaping and molding her into the person she is today: fun loving, active, social, and hard working. The only thing that has remained a constant throughout her life is writing. Creating characters who will tear your conscience in two is a favorite pastime of Callie’s. There are few real saints and sinners in her books; more often, the denizens of her stories are all very human. Broken, flawed, and always with the potential for redemption.
Despite the subject matter being markedly hot and heavy in comparison to the stories she wrote in elementary school, there will always be an element of fairytale to her work.
