How far would you go to save someone you love? Would you give up your body? Your mind? Your heart?

I did and it cost me everything.

He says he owns me. And it’s true.

I’ve signed over complete control of my body and life for six months to a man I don’t know. Five years he’s been planning this. They say revenge is a dish best served cold. But my blackmailer serves it up white hot. He’s addicted to my innocence, and I’m addicted to him.

He likes to hurt me. I love to let him. He brings me to life. He sets me free. He makes my heart feel things it shouldn’t.

But he also scares me. He holds the fate of my brother’s life in his hands. A life behind bars for crimes I know he didn’t commit. My blackmailer can’t give up his revenge on my family, and I can’t be with him if he doesn’t. But I’m nothing more than a butterfly caught in his net. Do I really have a choice?

~ My Thoughts ~

Such a twisted tale. Lies, truths, passion, murder, mayhem and confusion are just a few things that make Echo so interesting.  The storyline is creative, fresh, and intriguing.  The characters are strong, defiant, twisted, compassionate, brutal and each an every one of them owns part of the secrets that makes Echo such an enticing and suspenseful story.

~ Brighton ~

Such a wonderfully written character.  Her emotions play out so brilliantly, as she tries to come to grips with the reality of her family’s future.   Making promises she’s not sure she can keep, she puts on a brave face and smiles as her heart shatters at the thought of what’s to come.

~ Ryland ~

Mysterious, tempting, dangerous and all-consuming are some of the qualities that drew me to Ryland.  He is confident and aloof.  He exudes power, desire and doesn’t hesitate to take what he wants. He is a mystery, a puzzle that can’t be put together.  One minuet he’s all you see and the next minuet he is gone, making you wonder if he ever really existed.

Echo is a twisted tale of family, life, death and the consequences of your actions.  It is a total mind-play leading the reader into a world of confusion, deceit, lust and power.

Every character within this story plays a pivotal role.  Secrets, lies, twists and turns have you clenching you Kindle wondering what could possibly happen next.  Games and agreements expose the brutal truths of who the characters really are.  You question everything while reading.  You inhale and wait for the smallest of clues to be revealed and then you slowly exhale.  Shock and disbelief.  Sex so intense, filled with such raw hate, you wonder to yourself why you see the passion in the pain.

I didn’t know what to expect when I purchased this book. I have read other books by this author and enjoyed them. While Echo was a bit different to what I had expected from this author, I enjoyed the story.  The way the author played with my mind, surprising me at every turn.  I exhausted myself, feeling every emotion of every character.  My heart clenched at the devastation and surprise entered my mind while I melted into the brutal, raw and decadent sex.

Echo is written at a very fast pace.  The characters are well-rounded, quirky, and intriguing.  The storyline continues to gain speed as the you read. The author seems to control your thought process, as she slowly shares little clues.  Echo is a well written story that kept me guessing till the very end. The author ends book one with a bang and leaves you hanging … wondering exactly how this story will end.
