I absolutely LOVED this book. It was my favorite of the 3. It is a standalone. I didn’t even realize it was related to the other two novels until I recognized the brothers’ names from Dishonorable and Disgraced. Unhinged has it all; suspense, drama, steam, wit, and a hot, dangerous alpha bent on revenge. I was hooked from the start. Author Natasha Knight delivers a unique tale of lust, betrayal, and love.
Zach and Eve are great characters. Both are flawed, wracked with guilt. One is looking for a new beginning and the other for answers and retribution. They find so much more than they expected. So many twists and turns, my head was spinning trying to figure out the actual villain in the story. The pacing is perfect. The push/pull between the characters is intense. Their internal conflict about their feelings is believable. Their chemistry is palpable. The story is raw and gritty. I was invested in their HEA. It was an emotional rollercoaster reliving what they survived. The danger isn’t over. It’s only starting. It was a race to find the traitor before he got to them. This book is a page turner that keeps you engaged from beginning to end. Definitely recommend Unhinged to those who like their romance with an edge.
