True power is never held by good men, only the most perfect of villains. And she and I are both villains…Two very bad people who want very bad things are never safe together.
Some love stories have no heroes.
~ Maria’s Review ~
Bad is a twisted, dark story. The author team of LP Lovell and Stevie J. Cole build this dangerous, violent world. The main characters are scary, sexy and blood thirsty. The tension between them is palpable. The story is raw and gritty. I could feel the lust and the hate, but, I have to admit, it felt more like a physical connection than a romantic one. This is book one, and the authors do a good job laying the ground work and setting the pace for what is to come. Ronan and Camilla are more alike than they want to admit. While they focus on the hate, their attraction smolders. Neither want to admit it. I enjoy the cat and mouse game between them, however, at any given moment, the mouse switches to the cat. I’m not sure which character is more cunning. There is graphic violence and blood play. This book isn’t for the squeamish. Fans of dark romance and mafia stories will enjoy. I look forward to finding out how the story ends.
