I wasn’t sure if it was going to be for me because I’ve only read author Marni Mann’s dark, psychological romance books, which I love. Marni Mann proves she is a talented, creative, versatile author. She can write books that leave you stunned and rocking in the corner, as well as, books that leave you swooning. Signed is such a book. It is a sexy, hot drama with a terrific story line. Forbidden love, betrayal, secrets and scandals…perfect mix for an amazing read.
I love Brett and James. Brett is sexy, seductive, alpha and smart. A little cocky, but a great guy. James is gorgeous, talented, young, and trusting. Together, they sizzle. Their banter is sexy, funny and hot. She is America’s sweetheart until an event changes life as she knew it. Her life turns upside down, forcing her to take inventory of her choices and make some changes. She is a great character. Her journey from young starlet to confident woman is a natural one. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about her because she is such a young character and Brett is older, but it works, and it works very well. Not gonna lie, I did want to smack some sense into Brett at first. I was angry with him but, he more than makes up for it. He is protective, and determined to help her. They just have an easy, passionate flow.
