F R O S T

Ella

Since I was a little girl, I have been surrounded by hate, death, murder, and
slavery. I’ve been guarded my whole life by my brother—Raze, the kingpin of the
underworld and the most feared individual in the United States of America. And
then further more guarded when I found out the president of The Devil’s Own MC
was my long lost half-brother. Being tossed around from one extreme protection
to another has left a part of me yearning to break out of it’s cage. The part
that I’ve tried to sugar coat and hide, because if she’s unleashed, everyone
would see just how much like my brothers I am.

Panting, wanting, needing to unleash the side of me I’ve always known was
there.

My secret is mine and my brothers.

Only they know what I hide and why I hide it. How I fight for love because if I
don’t, my rage would win and I’d be a mere shadow of the girl people have grown
to know.

But I broke.

And the man who held the hammer that shattered the walls I spent years building
to cage in my rage—was a psychopath.

~ Maria’s Review ~

Have you ever wanted to dance with the devil? You would if he were Frost. The Devil’s Match by Amo Jones is the fifth book in The Devil’s Own series. It is a twisted tale of love, angst, betrayal and revenge. I loved every crazy word.

Frost and Ella are such intriguing characters. They are dark and dangerous. Their demons call to each other. Theirs is a visceral connection. Their banter is funny, sexy, and scary. I was never completely sure if it would end in bloodshed or orgasm or both! The push/pull is intense and frustrating to say the least. I was totally invested in these two.

Frost is a cold, methodical and an unrepentant killer. He’d end your life and then sit down for breakfast, without batting an eye. He’s also charming and gorgeous. Ella is beautiful, smart, and cunning. Her innocent eyes fool you into believing she’s harmless. She’s anything but. No damsel needing saving. She is sassy and feisty, but vulnerable, too. Together, they make for quite the interesting, passionate, volatile pair.

Their story takes place over some time. So many things happen, with so many characters involved, my head was spinning. Author Amo Jones is a master at unexpected plot twists that leave me like what?! There were so many times that I had to stop and take a breath because I didn’t see that coming or I couldn’t believe it when it did. I love when an author can surprise me while keeping me so captivated, I can’t put the book down. Amo Jones does just that with The Devil’s Match. Loved Frost and Ella’s story. I loved how the characters in the other books are such an integral part of the story. It wouldn’t make sense if they weren’t in it because they are so connected. I highly recommend this book and this series. Cannot wait for the next book because I have questions I need answered but rest easy, this is not a cliffhanger. Fans of dark, edgy, thrilling romance will not be disappointed. 5 Stars!!
