Everything has a price … and I’m willing to pay.I trust no one. I thrive with control and I’ve learned to be ruthless and coldhearted. A love life? I’m not interested.

But I still have desires.

That’s where Dahlia came in; my treasure. She had never been a submissive before and I was eager to train her.

The dusting of sparkles on her dress barely hid her tempting curves. I wanted to see all of her. My d*ck was already hard at the thought of my hand leaving a bright red print across her lush ass.

When I saw her on stage at the auction, dressed in gold, I knew I had to have her.

She’s mine for an entire month. I own her. But one lie changed everything.

She’s going to be punished for it. But I’m doing this for her own good. She needs this.

I’m going to make this right. I’m going to heal her.

If it’s the last thing I do.

~ My Thoughts ~

I’ve read one auction book and I really didn’t enjoy it much, so I have stayed away from this topic. That is until I found Bought ~ a collaboration written by Willow Winters (whose books I have enjoyed) and Lauren Landish an author I have not read. So against my no auction book rule, I purchased Bought and dove right in.

If Dom/Sub stories ignite your soul, Bought will entice, delight and intrigue.

Lucian goes beyond perfection as the Dom in this story. Factor is his good looks, his brooding character, his intense personality, his f**ked up family history and how he can make you drop to your knees in a single word … he is the full package. The way this character embeds himself into your soul is amazing. The way he doles out punishments will leave you breathless. How he can go from pounding, heart stopping sex, to tender and loving in the blink of an eye will have your heart beating in triple time. He is dangerous, wicked, sexual beyond your imagination and extremely enticing.

Dahlia is written with perfection. You feel her insecurities, her defiance, her hopefulness and her self loathing. A hard and heavy past haunts this character and the story focuses on her pursuit to overcome her demons. Factor in real life ups and down and you have a character who fights to stay afloat, who questions her worth and who wants so badly to fix the broken parts of her.

I found the story to be written at a very fast pace. It was intriguing, extremely sensual and compelling. While the ending wasn’t exactly what I expected I did enjoy the book.
