~ My Thoughts ~

The author writes a magnificent, perfectly scripted story of life, death, torture and deceit.

A puzzle of repressed memories that haunt, taunt and form our characters, giving us a full picture of the despicable acts they were forced to endure. These very acts are the ones that act as the building blocks that form their adult minds. The acts that will stun you as much as your reaction to them.

The therapist, the police, the FBI and the convict ~ All written with precise attention to detail. With realism and deep seated emotions. The effect these characters have on you is mind blowing.

The story line is written with such complexity that the twists and turns will leave your mind reeling. The surprises, which appear throughout the duet will leave you stunned. I found it impossible to stay one step ahead of this story. I was shocked at the turn of events. The author has a talent for taking the unimaginable and having it fit so perfectly into the story line.

This is one of those books that you don’t want to put down and it you have to, the story haunts you until you can read again.

We are brought into the minds of those who stalk their prey. We witness firsthand the tortures they endure for their sins. Through all of this you find yourself slowly rooting for evil to win while chastising yourself for doing so.

The fear and compassion felt is startling. The endless mind games left me physically and emotionally exhausted. Plot twists I could never of imagined. The deranged and the severe determination to win, to solve the puzzle will evoke feelings of fear, horror, disbelief and startle the hell out of you.

Can evil live inside you, beneath the surface without you ever knowing? Is the torture and death of those who allow their darkness and evil to rule their actions okay? Do you believe in happy ever after? If you had the chance, would you explore the darkness that lives inside of your mind All of these questions come into play within the pages of this duet. All you have to do is lay the pieces of the puzzle out and place them together, delicately, to understand that horrors live within each and everyone of us.
