5 Stars for Release ~ Off Balance #3

~ Synopsis ~

After Kova’s devastating betrayal, Adrianna must become her own champion and place her Olympic dream ahead of all else. In doing so, she ignores the warning signs as both the extreme training and unending heartbreak begin to take their toll.

There is no atoning for what Kova did. The vow he made cannot be undone. With boundaries set and lines clearly defined, Kova will now have to be the one to relinquish control in order to regain Adrianna’s trust.

Though the dynamics shift between coach and gymnast, nothing can prepare them for the agonizing truth that is to come. Fighting for a dream becomes only half the battle when Adrianna’s fate is sealed, leaving them both with their biggest challenge yet.

~ My Thoughts ~

This book, this series has exceeded every expectation I had. A beautifully, tragic, enlightening, devastating passionate story of two people, their families, their passion, their dreams and the crushing truths of life.

Characters that are strong, well structured and emotionally driven. A story line that encompasses truths, lies, determination, defeat. The willingness to see how far you can push yourself to achieve the life you have dreamed of. The shocking revelations. The intensity of the deliciously, decadent, dominating passion. The heartbreak when truths are revealed. The half truths and secrets that have yet to be fully exposed.

Each books ending leaves me in shock with an intense desire to know what happens next. Each character, large or small has left me with strong, solid emotions which have carve out my feelings towards them. Each touch, command and breath shared leaves me breathless and longing for more.

Release and the other books in this series have taken hold of me. I relish the story line, feeling as though I have been transported into the world that these characters live in. I smell the chalk, I feel the burn of the rips, my heart shatters, my heart fills to the point where I feel like it may explode. This is one story that I just can’t seem to get enough of. The intensity of the writing, the realism of the characters and the situation has me in it’s grip and I am loving it.
