I have no words. I was blown away. My Maddie is epic! It is profound, raw, and emotional AF. Author Tillie Cole delivers another brilliant story centered around the Hades Hangmen and their women. My Maddie is Book 8 in the series. It focuses on Flame and Maddie, two of my favorite characters in this series. Their story starts in book 3, Souls Unfractured, which is one of my favorite. It also explores the relationship between Flame and Ash. Author Tillie Cole outdoes herself in My Maddie, which continues their story and further delves into Flame’s past and his journey.
My heart broke over and over while reading this story. It is powerful and gritty. The character development is amazing. The story is intense and not easy to read because it is so heartbreaking. I wanted to reach in and just hug them. The sheer strength of Maddie and Flame is unbelievable. Her faith is inspiring. Her love is unshakable. The connection between Flame and Ash, his brother, is a real and honest and flawed.
But interwoven with all the sadness and turmoil, is hope and forgiveness trying to break through and shine light in the darkness.
I don’t want to give anything away. I just loved everything about this story. It is beautifully tragic and hopeful at the same time. Author Tillie Cole stays true to her characters and does them justice. My Maddie had me crying, laughing because Vike is excellent comic relief, and just made my heart full. I highly recommend this series and My Maddie’s is a brilliant addition to this fabulous series.

About the Author
Tillie Cole hails from a small town in the North-East of England. She grew up on a farm with her English mother, Scottish father and older sister and a multitude of rescue animals. As soon as she could, Tillie left her rural roots for the bright lights of the big city.
After graduating from Newcastle University with a BA Hons in Religious Studies, Tillie followed her Professional Rugby player husband around the world for a decade, becoming a teacher in between and thoroughly enjoyed teaching High School students Social Studies before putting pen to paper, and finishing her first novel.
Tillie has now settled in Austin, Texas, where she is finally able to sit down and write, throwing herself into fantasy worlds and the fabulous minds of her characters.
Tillie is both an independent and traditionally published author, and writes many genres including: Contemporary Romance, Dark Romance, Young Adult and New Adult novels.
When she is not writing, Tillie enjoys nothing more than curling up on her couch watching movies, drinking far too much coffee, while convincing herself that she really doesn’t need that extra square of chocolate.
