The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren is a fun, charming and entertaining read. I loved the premise.
Author duo Christina Lauren deliver a unique, creative answer to dating apps. I was intrigued. Imagine a sure-fire way to meet your soulmate. Add in the authors’ flair for romcom and witty banter and I was sold.
Our main characters Jess, a single, struggling mother, and River, a sexy, aloof executive. Both are nerdy and yet seem unlikely to get together.
This book started kind of slow for me but then picked up and I couldn’t put it down. I loved the way the relationship develops after quite an unorthodox start.
This story is everything you want in a romance, especially if you’re a fan of Christina Lauren. It is refreshing, intriguing, witty fun with some twists and heat. Perfect read while lying on the beach!

Christina Lauren is the combined pen name of long-time writing partners/besties/soulmates/brain-twins Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings. The coauthor duo writes both Young Adult and Adult Fiction, and together has produced eight New York Times bestselling novels. Their books have been translated into 24 languages.
Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.
Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. These days you’ll probably find her on tumblr.
