Lyrics of Her

by

Karen Crompton

As the lead singer of Cold Neptune, and every woman’s bad-boy fantasy, Reed Devlin is used to the limelight. Making music and writing original songs are his two great passions.

So, when sassy up and coming singer/songwriter, Brinley Thomas, accuses him of musical plagiarism, Reed’s entire world spins out of control.
There’s no way he can just sit back and let it happen. Fame and fortune can usually buy him anything he wants. But not this time.
Brinley isn’t interested in his money. And she’s not interested in taking any of Reed’s crap either. She just wants what’s rightfully hers.
But the truth always comes at a cost, and despite their sizzling chemistry, Brinley struggles to risk it all and let her heart take center stage for once.

Lyrics of Her, book #1 in the Cold Neptune rock-star series can be read as a stand-alone full length steamy romance with no cliff hangers. It is intended for mature audiences 18+.

~ My Thoughts ~

There are so many things I enjoyed about Lyrics of her but the one that stands out in my mind is the feeling I had when reading this story. I felt like I had been transported back to the indie author explosion on Facebook. Where OG authors ruled the book world, and you could not wait to devour the next release that was hyped on every blog you followed.

Welcome to the world of Reed and Brinley. Trust me when I tell you, are you going to love it here.

Lyrics contain some of my favorite things. Well-developed characters that are relatable, interesting, and well defined. The music industry which in this story takes us specifically into the world of rock and roll and folk. Emotions that take you on the rollercoaster ride of your life and of course a little dominance that well takes you on the rollercoaster coaster ride of your life.

The storyline was fresh, unique, and interesting. The structure was well thought out. The twist, well it was unexpected, well situated, heartbreaking and loving all at the same time.

I am thrilled that Tic Tok introduced to this author, tempting me with short, seductive, and intriguing videos.

I am sold on the way Karen Crompton tells a story, and I am looking forward to reading many more books she has authored.
