Kindle Books with Narration
I’ve never really been much of a fan of audio books. I guess it’s because I still have the voice of some monotone woman in my mind narrating a Danielle Steel book. But today I was picking up my daughter from college, which meant I had a two-hour drive ahead of me. So I contemplated listening to an audio book since I haven’t had much time to read lately.
So I went through my Kindle library to see what I had purchased already but had not read and located the book Collide by Gail McHugh. I heard great things about this book from my fellow bloggers, but the book never made it to the top of my list.
Fortunately, Collide was one of those books that offers Whispersync for Voice for an additional $2.99 (prices vary). Now, if you’re reading this with a confused look on your face, let me explain this wonderfully, awesome program from Amazon.
You can switch seamlessly between READING and LISTENING on your Kindle App or tablet! Yep, you heard that right! Here’s the cool part—Amazon will search your Kindle library (Matchmaker) and find the discounted audio upgrades for the books you already own.
So, going back to my book Collide that I had purchased previously. Today I paid an additional $2.99 to add the audible narration. Click here for Matchmaker and start listening/reading today! 🙂
I have a feeling I’ll be listening to a lot more books now. (BTW, the narrator for Collide rocks!) 🙂
