USA Today bestselling author Megan Crane's smoldering new novel will leave readers ... obsessed.
Tyr, a powerful man in a destroyed world, needs only three things to survive: his weapons, basic resources and a rotation of women to serve his voracious sexual needs. But when a beautiful prisoner grabs his attention during a mission to restock his clan's supplies, Tyr's alpha instincts give way to something much darker--strong, unquenchable lust that cannot be ignored...or denied.
After two years on the run, Helena is snared by this dominant group of men who roam the land unchallenged. Strong to her core and with a mission of her own, Helena knows she doesn't have to be their captive for long. But despite all the terrible things she's heard about these brutal beasts, Helena is overcome by intense desire for the ruthless man who has taken her. As their scorching passion escalates, Helena will have to trust in Tyr in order to save both what's left of this desolate, torn-up world...and herself.

SEX, SEX and MORE SEX!

Edge of Obsession by Megan Crane contains lots of voyeurism, fiery dirty talk, public sex, kidnapping, barbarian orgies, naked dancing in a crowd, dominate alpha male sex, and blood; all in a scary dystopian world.

The premise of Edge of Obsession is a simple one, beautiful girl who lives in a water soaked and flooded world wants to bring the lights back on.  Light is power, as man has an inherent fear of the dark and those that control the light control the world.  The world was flooded after The Storm, I figure it had something to do with no more moon, and pockets of land is where people live in communities banding together for safety, and being guided by kings and priests. Those leaders hording what’s left of the worlds technology, and perverting the ‘go forth and multiple’, parts of religion.  Where sex, by the majority of the populace is seen more a civic chore, and not any fun.  BORING SEX!!! EGADS.

The opposite of the mainland survival populace is that of the seafaring raiders community of the world built by Megan Crane. The raiders live by no rules but their own.  Imagine the meanest outlaw bikers gang ever written; they would be frightened little girls in pink, compared to the raiders. The raiders in this book make a feral rabid wolf pack look sweet and fluffy.  In fact biker dudes are down right warm, cuddly, and having bromances; compared to the raiders in this book.  The Viking Hordes of the Middle Ages, but without the silly hats, are a better example of the toughness of these dystopian raiders. These men are sex on a stick and they know how to use their sticks, in non procreation, wild monkey sex!  NOT BORING SEX!! Hurray!

So light girl meets raider boy and light girls mouth gets her in trouble.  Raider boy takes light girl on a romantic trek, and they view some live porn, which opens up light girls eyes and desire.  There is a lot of well written sexy times in this book.  Holy Hell fire sexy times.  The raider boy even uses it as an interrogation technique, giving light girl several tongue lashings as punishment; as light girl does not want to give up her secret of being light girl.

I really did like this book, as the world building was unique, even though the though of girls having to have sex as soon as they had their first cycles. YIKES! At least they were paired with age appropriate partners.   The survivors must repopulate the world, is the main push for getting people together of sex on the mainlands.  My brain screamed Umm… limited resources and landmasses, let’s back off the repopulation a tad.

So you know this is the start of a new series, so no lights are turned on. But, a lot of people are turned on and a lot of sex is had by anyone and everyone.  If you like your dystopian reads filled will hot bodies and inferno sex then this book is up your alley.
