Disgraced is even better than Dishonorable, if that’s possible. I knew when I met Damon in Dishonorable that there was more to his character than meets the eye. I was excited to learn he was getting a book. Author Natasha Knight did not disappoint. Damon’s character was hot, sexy, and so very alpha.

I really like how Damon and Lina’s characters develop. Their push / pull is intense, fueled by a forbidden attraction. The chemistry is off the charts with a tension that is palpable. I could not put this book down because I needed to know how it would end.

Lina’s character was a nice surprise. She was younger in the first book so I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about her. But, as I stated, author Natasha Knight did a fantastic job with her characters. Lina is darker and feeling guilt because of her past. She is not as innocent as she used to be, but even then, she wasn’t as pure as we were made to believe. She’s hiding something. And, Damon…wow. Not only is he HOT but he’s darker than I expected, and I loved him more because of it. I was a little uncomfortable with my attraction to him because he’s in the seminary. But, he’s just to delicious to deny. His desire for her is fierce and possessive. There’s a side he brings out that he kept hidden, but, he can’t anymore.  Together, they are amazing. Even knowing he was on the path for priesthood, I wanted them to work out. I was rooting for a happy ending. They face obstacles and danger, bringing them closer. You just can’t help loving them together.

Disgraced has twists and unexpected turns that kept this story moving. It was dark, raw, passionate and steamy. Though it’s book 2, it can be read as a standalone. Definitely recommend for fans of dark romance. I loved it and cannot wait for more from this author .
