~ Maria’s Review ~
Fantastic conclusion to a fantastic duet! Loved it. Torn picks up effortlessly where Taken left off. It is dark, gritty and twisted. It is also hot AF!
Author Natasha Knight met my expectations and more. She also took this story through some unexpected twists and twists I saw coming, but in ways I didn’t expect.
Sebastian and Helena are complicated characters. I loved them and wanted to shake them, too. I must also say that Gregory intrigued me and I look forward to his story (hint, hint Natasha) .
The push / pull between Sebastian and Helena is intense. The attraction is off the charts. The inner turmoil both feel due to their circumstances is strong. I like the way Helena fights with herself over her feelings. It’s a struggle for her, as it should be. Some things were over the top but they fit into the storyline.
I like the way author Natasha Knight had her characters come full circle, and face their demons and feelings head on with raw honesty.
If you like dark, edgy twisted romance, you won’t want to miss this duet. A hate to love that starts with dubious intent and is a passionate, gritty tale of two damaged souls finding salvation.
bestselling author of contemporary romance, Natasha Knight specializes in dark,
tortured heroes. Happily-Ever-Afters are almost always guaranteed, but she
likes to put her characters through hell to get them there. She’s evil like
that.
