Cruel Fortune by KA Linde is a fantastic follow up to book 1, Cruel Money. Author KA Linde picks up the story effortlessly and throws in some unexpected twists right at the start to keep you on your toes.
I love Natalie. She is smart, sassy, talented and not shallow. She gets caught up though in a crowd that is unlike her. But she’s no wilting flower and can give as good as she gets. Maybe, better. I love the way she develops.
Lewis is an enigma. Wasn’t sure about him in book 1 and in this book, he shows his true colors, or does he. The jury is still out.
Penn. Yummy, delicious, frustrating Penn. Loved him in book 1, even when I wanted to shake him. Still holds true in this book. But, he shows more of his bad boy ways in this book.
Cruel Fortune is a modern day “dangerous liaisons” “cruel intentions” tale. There is betrayal, secrets, blackmail, heartbreak and revenge. Author KA Linde had me captivated and turning pages till the end. Leaving me wanting for more. I cannot wait to see how the story ends. Highly recommend.
