Fraud by author Lily White is absolutely amazing. It is an intense, twisted, funny, dark, HOT enemies to lovers story. I love this series already! Treachery, book 1, was fantastic and Fraud is even better, which is no easy feat. Author Lily White delivers a story that will captivate you and blow your mind. While each book in the series focuses on different characters, they are not really stand alone because there is an underlying story arc that carries through and builds in the novels. Not to mention each antihero is so uniquely charismatic and delicious, why would you want to miss out?
Back to Fraud. This is Gabe and Ivy’s story. We met them in Treachery and I fell for Gabe then. I was so excited his book was next in the series because that meant I wouldn’t have long to wait. And author Lily White dies not disappoint. I love these characters!! Gabe is perfect as Fraud. He hides his secrets and true self effortlessly. He is charming, sexy, deceptive and seductive. He is a master prankster. But underneath, he is dangerous, cunning, sexy and vulnerable. Ivy is my favorite female character so far in the series. She is sassy, smart, intuitive, gorgeous and gives as good as she gets, sometimes better.
Their banter is addicting. Snarky, sarcastic, and quick-witted. Their connection and chemistry cannot be denied. The push / pull is intense. I love that author Lily White utilizes alternate POV because I NEEDED to be in both their heads to know what and why each was thinking and planning.
Gabe stole my heart. Ivy was fierce. I was reallly rooting for her. I loved them and the games they played. They melted my heart, made me angry, made me laugh and just won me over. I was infatuated and totally invested in their story.
I love the closeness of the Inferno men and how they are integral parts of each of the books, and how author Lily White gives us clues about each of them and what may come.
There are so many secrets and mind games going on in Fraud, that just when I think I figured it out, author Lily White proves why she is the master of the game and blows my mind. Unexpected twists, jaw dropping reveals and epic cat and mouse games make this an brilliantly engaging book I devoured and highly recommend. I’m eagerly anticipating Ezra’s book and CANNOT wait!!!!
