Holy Hell ~ I’m still trying to process what I have read ….
It was the title that drew me in …. the blurb added fire to the flame …. nothing absolutely nothing could have prepared me for the story that I just finished reading.
The haunting horrors of the past continue to bleed into the present and trust me when I say the past will haunt you.
Brilliant characters. A compelling story line. Fear, love, lust, danger and intrigue make Dead Pretty a fantastic read.
The past is woven into the present beautifully, providing the reader with complete information to understand the actions and emotions of all characters in this book. The resistance is well written and brings realism into the story. The emotional entanglement is scripted perfectly and the sensuality of the story is breathtaking.
This book holds appeal to not only lovers of darkness and mystery, but I think lovers of romance and family life drama will enjoy it as well.
With an abundance of twists and turns, it was impossible to figure out the stories secrets. Trust me when I say, I actually stopped breathing for a second when the truth was revealed.
What a unique and completely captivating story. I’m thrilled that this author stepped out of her comfort zone and took a chance on writing a story so different from her other’s.
I highly recommend Dead Pretty to those who enjoy a great love story entangled withing murder, mayhem and a plot that will leave you guessing until the very end.
