When We Met is nothing I expected or could be ready for. I did not even read the blurb because I like going in blind, especially with author Marni Mann. Her writing and stories blow me away. When We Met is no exception.
The story centers on Caleb and Whitney, and is set in Boston. It is a story about choices, chance and destiny. How much control do we have over the course our life is on?
Caleb is the perfect hero. Whitney is an amazing heroine. I love them. They have a connection. They compliment each other’s personalities. I love how their relationship develops. Their journey is an intense, emotional ride.
As only author Marni Mann can, their story has some crazy twists and jaw dropping moments. Made my mind spin and had me say wtf is going on a few times but so worth it for that ending. Definitely a story that will stay with me and have me thinking about it long after this review is done.
