Book Review 

Oh how my love for the forbidden, best-friend’s little sister trope was totally met with this one! All I needed was the author and the blurb to know that I was in for a crazy, good ride. THE CRUSH the latest novel by Penelope Ward and it is a really, really good one.

Nathan and Farrah stole my heart from the get go… we are introduced to them in the present, however, most of the book is a flashback to how their relationship came about. I absolutely loved seeing how their attraction for each other was just too strong to avoid forever… the sneaking around, their deep conversations, and the way they absolutely fall head over heels for each was simply amazing. Both characters are extremely likeable… Farrah is strong, genuine, and so sweet… Nathan is HOT, sexy, compassionate, and an all around good guy. It was easy to root for them and it was easy to have your heart inevitably broken when they are eventually found out.

The last part of the book is back in the present and it honestly went from forbidden to second chance romance… this book truly has it all. I definitely recommend! It will hit all the targets that a sexy, contemporary romance should… forbidden, sexy, angsty, and just so GOOD! Read it… you will not be disappointed! ~ read and reviewed by Yesi
