Amo at her best!
In Silence She Screams is absolutely fabulous. I think it’s my favorite in the series. Though it’s stand-alone, it’s just better to read all of them in order and the EKC series, too, to appreciate the connection between characters and the plot. This book is a crazy rollercoaster ride of epic proportion. It has it all, and true to the author, when you think you know, Amo Jones shows you that you don’t know anything!
Kyrin was so intriguing when I first met him in book 1 and he lives up to every expectation I had and then some. He is gorgeous, dark and disturbing.
Eli. Oh Eli. I love him in EKC and adore him in this world. Also gorgeous and twisted and cunning.
Lilith is the perfect heroine for this story. She is broken and beautiful and mysterious.
All together, these three damaged, dark souls find each other. They have heat, chemistry and connection. The banter is snarky, flirty, and filled with sarcastic wit.
I absolutely love the crossover with EKC and that the characters are integral to the plot not just fluff or filler.
ISSS is gritty, hot, intense and sexy AF. There are secrets, lies, revenge and crazy plot twists. I was blown away. Total mindf**k.
