The Single Dad by author Marni Mann is the third book in the series and, I must admit, might be my favorite. It is an age gap, single dad / nanny trope and it will steal your heart.
I’m convinced author Marni Mann can write any trope she sets her sights on and write it brilliantly. From dark to sweet and everything in between.
The Single Dad is Ford’s book, the youngest Dalton in the series. Ford may be the youngest but he’s also the hottest. And he’s got a young daughter he’s raising on his own. Cue the sighs and melting heart. He is such a great dad, always putting her needs first. But, don’t let that fool you. Ford is not only an amazing father, he’s also sinfully sexy. He’s the perfect hero who’s met his match. Sydney is young, beautiful and unexpected. There’s just one problem. She’s not only perfect for him, she’s also the perfect nanny for his daughter, Everly. What’s a dad to do?Â
They hit it off immediately. The chemistry is off the charts. The attraction is palpable. The banter exudes sex. The steam is hot AF!
I love the characters, especially Everly. She steals the show with her sass and cuteness. I also love Ford’s brothers and seeing the characters from The Agency is always an added bonus. (Another great series)
The Single Dad will draw you in and keep you turning pages effortlessly. I devoured it. It is a sweet, sexy, low angst romance. Perfect beach read! Highly recommend it!!
