It’s that time again dear listeners! Another year has passed bringing humor and drama, joy and sorrow, but most of all, new listens of both recent releases and classics. We lost a beloved narrator, and we found new voices; we re-visited favorite authors and tried out some debut authors; and, as we listened, we put miles on the treadmill and filled our heads with something entertaining and sometimes even inspirational. It should come as no surprise that in a year when many things didn’t quite turn out as expected, I was finally able to get my annual “Best of” list down to my goal (which I’ve always exceeded) of ten 5 star listens! I’m not sure how this happened. Most of my listens were well worth my time, but there were actually ten that stood out from the rest.
