When I first started writing, I had this vision of what every girl dreams of…the perfect happily ever after. When I picked up my pen and notebook for the first time, Lily came to me instantly, but her heart was damaged and fragile. I asked myself what my biggest fear was, and for me, it would be to lose anyone I loved. Kyle suddenly invaded my thoughts, wanting to protect and comfort her in his possessive, overbearing ways. He was perfect for my Lily. They complemented one another’s strengths and weaknesses.
I jotted down notes here and there, even on napkins or receipts. The story just developed from there, and I let my characters run free.
