Karen’s Thoughts

I really have enjoyed the first three installments of this serialized read.  The story of lawyers McKayla Dawson and Matt Connover is progressing nicely, despite Matt’s insisting that he is only open up for a purely sexual relationship.  They may have meet in a very unconventional way, but the sparks fly as these two characters come together.

Bennett has written engaging main characters that I as a reader like.  McKayla inner monologue since she is the narrator of the book is witty and fun.  I would like to see a little more of the legal side of McKayla’s world, and I hope the series progresses that way.   At some points I would rather be shown the interaction between the two characters than it being part of McKayla’s narrative.   I need more interaction between both Matt and McKayla, and when Bennett delivers this for me,  I am captivated.  I highly recommend this series, and am enthralled with both Mac and Matt.

Legal Affairs is a serial romance with a whole lot of hot and a little bit of funny. It has six volumes.
