“More than anything, I wish you could see the real you, so you could believe me.”
This is not your typical MC novel. It doesn’t focus on darkness or the violence. It isn’t too graphic. Rather, Katie Ashley depicts a world of MC Clubs in a unique way. While she doesn’t gloss over the violence and the characteristics of the MC life, she weaves it into the primary storyline, which is a love story. Katie Ashley shows us the softer side of the scary men of the Hell’s Raiders club. At times, the main characters made me want to scream because they kept getting in their own way and it was frustrating. However, it made sense, especially after what they had been through. I’m not going to lie, I love my gritty, hardcore MC books but this is a twist with the best of both worlds, romance and MC hotties! If you’re hardcore MC this may not be for you but give it a try. I enjoyed it. I think you will too! Looking forward to the next one!!
