~ My Thoughts ~
There’s a warning at the beginning of this book. It’s there for a reason.
If you don’t think you can handle rape, extremely brutal bordering on torturous sex than I suggest that you move on and look for a different book.
While this story does contain brutality, torture, intense sex and extreme mind play I will have to admit the story and the characters were intriguing, well structured and full of emotion.
This is not your everyday girl is kidnapped kind of story. It’s a story that sheds it’s layers slowly creating a sense of mystery.
While I warned you that the sex is brutal and at times crosses the line into torture it does hold it’s allure. I truly believe that’s true because of the way the author mingles intense pain, shocking sexual situations with the emotional values that the perpetrator and the victim feel while the sex scenes play out.
Surprises and shock value play a huge role within the story line. Unexpected absolutely. It was the kind of unexpected that rocks your mind.
All questions are answered, all loosed ends are tied up and you are still left with a sense of danger, confusion, passion and bewilderment.
While this book may not be for everyone I found it to be interesting, easy to read and intriguing
