Treachery Prequel is the perfect appetizer for what’s to come!!!! Author Lily White gives us just enough to whet our appetite and leave us craving more!!! I literally shouted “Nooooo” out loud when I finished this book. I was so sad I was done. I have been excited and anticipating this new series from author Lily White since she announced it. And she does not disappoint!
Author Lily White introduces us to her cast of characters. The sexy, hot antiheroes of Inferno. We are given a sneak peek into the 9, with a focus on Tanner Caine, aka Treachery. He is mean, arrogant, gorgeous, sarcastic and scary. He’s the type of guy you want to run from and run to, at the same time. The heroine, Luca Bailey is fantastic. She is smart, sassy, beautiful and determined. Though she is intimidated by Tanner, she is firstly and gives as good as she gets.
The push/pull is intriguing. Their banter is captivating, filled with snark, innuendo and sarcasm. The chemistry is palpable.
I loved it! I was hooked from page one and addicted by the end. I CANNOT wait for Treachery and all that is to come.
Amazing start to what I’m sure will be an amazing series. Highly recommend.
