Cage of Ice and Echoes is book 2 in the Frozen Fate trilogy by author Pam Godwin. It picks up effortlessly where Hills of Shivers and Shadow left off and is another epic mindfk.
Author Pam Godwin creates such a vivid world, I found myself lost in the unforgiving frozen Alaskan wilderness alongside our beloved characters.
There’s not much I can say without revealing too much. Suffice it to say that author Pam Godwin is an incredible storyteller. I was captivated by the characters; their secrets, frustrations, heartbreaks, trauma and fears. The way they struggle to survive while looking for a way out of their wintry, desolate prison.
The character development is amazing. The relationship between them is intense.
Author Pam Godwin had me lost in her world. I devoured every page, looking for clues and connections. I read from cover to almost cover because those last pages had me reeling. That ending?! Cliffhanger is putting it mildly!! I CANNOT wait for the final installment!!
If you can handle dark, disturbing, gritty themes with a plethora of trigger warnings that are not to be taken lightly, I highly recommend this trilogy which MUST be read in order.
