Holy Hell

Let me start this off by saying I have bought every book this author has published.

3.2.1 Is the first book that I read by this author.

This was one hell on an introduction.

JA Huss is a force.

Working magic with her imagination and words I was blown away by what I read.

3.2.1 was a total and complete mindf**k and I loved every word. The author presents us a story that spins such a tantalizing web of lies, deceit, truths, deceptions, love, hate, lust, confusion and the joining of three amazing characters.

I was drawn into the story by then end of the first sentence. I was owned by the author by the end of the first paragraph. I knew without doubt I was going to be completely immersed in this story and I was going to love it.

The characters are so vivid, unique and colorful. I found my mind merging with theirs. Three amazing lead characters. Each character is brilliantly described on both a physical and emotional level. Through slow and seductive words, the author tempts and teases us with the characters backstories. We are treated to a slow unraveling that in no way prepares you for the shock and awe of what is to come.

I will admit the characters fascinated me. Add to that, a unique storyline that is filled with forbidden danger, I could not help but feel everything as I read. The author words became my addiction and I fed it with reckless abandon.  My kindle burned up as I read this book in one sitting. I was mystified by the twists, turns and shocking surprises. I was lost in the intense heat, the variety of ownership and the sensations of the sex as it played out so magnificently before my eyes. I fell in love with two very different men and sat in wonder at the feelings this story provoked.

Blue is a fascinating character. She is a puzzle you want to put together piece by piece. You feel Blue. You feel her fear, desperation, confusion and shame. You feel her tremble, her desire, her need and the desperation of her hidden secrets.

JD and Ark are brothers by life, not blood. They each have saved each other and created a life for themselves that crosses so many lines. Their pasts which are worlds apart, bind them to each other. One is looking for salvation while the other is desperate to resolve the secrets that have destroyed the person he once was. Both JD and Ark are mix of contradiction, riddles waiting to be solved, so damn sexy you want to bow at their feet and beg them to dominate you. The secrets they both harbor are the heart and soul of this story. Their distinct and unique personalities grip you so tightly; you never want to leave the safety of their embrace, not even when fear and curiosity consume you.

The truths, lies, deception and fear lay a perfect foundation for this story. The intense sexuality, the shock and awe, rawness, confusion and mistrust had my mind spinning. It was impossible to stay one step ahead of the author. She has you so wrapped up in the here and now; the future does not exist until she allows it to.

To say that I was blown away by what I read would be an understatement. For every time I thought I knew what would happen next I was thrown a curveball. One that had me gasping in surprise. One moment I was lost in the animalistic mind blowing sex and the next second I was floored by the events that took place. I honestly felt like my head was spinning and it was a ride I never wanted to get off of.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mystery, intrigue, emotional highs and lows, heartache and deep seated love. If you enjoy characters that explode onto the pages and resonate within your mind you will love this book. Basking in the intensity of family, loss, life, lies, truths, the down right and dirty worlds of sex, sin and secrets this book is not to be missed.

Before I introduce you to the author I would like to share with you that prior to reading this and until I read the authors notes I thought JA Huss was a man. Imagine my surprise when in fact I found out that this brilliant author is a woman. My reasons for assuming the gender of the author were many but one that stands out so profoundly in my mind is the writing. The two main characters JD and Ark are written with such conviction. I was convinced that a man was behind creating them. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised when I found out the true gender of the author.

One other thing I would like to share with you is my thoughts on the author’s notes at the end of this book. I found them profound. After having read them I was in awe of where the inspiration from this story was conceived. I felt after reading the authors thoughts that I had such an insight into her personality, a bit of an idea of how her mind worked and an overall enhanced respect for her talent.
