It’s time for more men and motorcycles in the latest from the New York Times bestselling author of Reaper’s Fall...
The club comes first.
I’ve lived by those words my whole life—assumed I’d die by them, too, and I never had a problem with that. My Reaper brothers took my back and I took theirs and it was enough. Then I met her. Tinker Garrett. She’s beautiful, she’s loyal, and she works so damned hard it scares me sometimes . . . She deserves a good man—one better than me. I can’t take her yet because the club still needs me. There’s another woman, another job, another fight just ahead.
Now she’ll learn I’ve been lying to her all along. None of it’s real. Not my name, not my job, not even the clothes I wear. She thinks I’m nice. She pretends we’re just friends, that I’ve still got a soul . . . Mine’s been dead for years. Now I’m on fire for this woman, and a man can only burn for so long before he destroys everything around him.
I’m coming for you, Tinker.

Joanna Wylde keeps them coming and I love it! Reaper’s Fire is book 6 in the Reaper’s MC series. It is Gage and Tinker’s story and it should not be missed. Author Joanna Wylde brings us another fantastic story with an amazing alpha male in Gage. He is sexy, funny, dangerous, loyal and smart. Tinker is definitely a favorite female character in this series. She is no damsel in distress and won’t be treated as such. They both have secrets and he has a job to do, but the chemistry and tension cannot be denied.
“Reapers forever, forever Reapers. Sometimes loyalty sucks.”
One of the things I liked about the story was the continuity of the secondary storyline with Painter’s story, Reaper’s Fall, but in much more depth because Gage is on assignment for the club. The story hooked me from the start and kept me turning pages to the end. Tinker’s friends were hysterical. Loved their camaraderie and their girl code. Tinker is feisty and sassy. She’s been through a lot. Gage is hot!! I loved the banter between Gage and Tinker. It was full of innuendo and sexually charged tension. The heat between them sizzles.
“You’re my property. You don’t understand what that means yet and that’s okay. I’ll teach you.”
Author Joanna Wylde uses alternating POV and really lets the reader get inside the characters’ mindset. This is my favorite type of writing. I love how it gives me insight into why the characters say and act the way they do. I also love knowing things before the other characters do. The alternating POV enhances the angst because it shows why the character may feel one way and choose to act another.
Reaper’s Fire is a story about taking chances, doing what makes you happy and not caring what others think. Kudos to author Joanna Wylde. Her writing is creative, fresh and unique, not an easy feat when writing book 6 in a series. Each book is just as good as the last. While we all may have our favorite, one thing is for sure, they’re all fantastic reads. Reaper’s Fire does not disappoint. Fans of this series and genre will love it. I did.
