This has been a very highly anticipated book for me. The merging of two of my favorite twisted authors. Callie Hart brought us Zeth ‘Motherf***king’ Mayfair in her amazing Blood and Roses series, while Lilli Saint Germain gave us Jase in the fantastic Gypsy Brothers series. Both series blew me away. I could not imagine what these two would come up with together. But, I knew it would be awesome….and I was right.
Hell’s Kitchen is a thrilling start to what I’m sure will prove to be an amazing series. This book sets up the story line beautifully. A smooth melding of the characters we loved in the Blood and Roses and Gypsy Brothers series with new and intriguing characters, into this plot of feuds between rival gangsters vying for control and revenge. Throw in disgruntled family members and employees and the plot thickens, ripe with betrayal, backstabbing, and survival of the fittest. A great introduction of the characters and key players, told in each one’s POV flawlessly, letting the reader get inside each of their heads. The authors do such a terrific job uniting their unique styles, that I’m not sure who wrote which parts. I’d love to find out if my guesses are correct, but, regardless of who wrote what, fans will not want to miss the start of this next brilliant series.
This story had me laughing out loud and holding my breath. I was shaking my head and had to pause at times. Especially with the scenes involving Scarlett, an accidental victim of the chaos around her. She finds herself caught up in the drama but has issues of her own and ties to people she owes favors. The Barbieri brothers are hot, sexy, funny and trouble, each with baggage of their own. Throw in a spoiled Irish mafia princess with a female bodyguard and get ready for the ride of your life. I devoured this book in one sitting. I only wish it were longer. Absolutely loved it and CANNOT wait for the next one!

About Callie Hart
Callie has experienced many changes throughout her life, and gone through many ups and downs that have all worked towards shaping and molding her into the person she is today: fun loving, active, social, and hard working. The only thing that has remained a constant throughout her life is writing. Creating characters who will tear your conscience in two is a favorite pastime of Callie’s. There are few real saints and sinners in her books; more often, the denizens of her stories are all very human. Broken, flawed, and always with the potential for redemption.
Despite the subject matter being markedly hot and heavy in comparison to the stories she wrote in elementary school, there will always be an element of fairytale to her work.
About Lili Saint Germain
Lili writes dark romance, suspense and paranormal stories. Her serial novel, Seven Sons, was released in early 2014, with the following books in the series to be released in quick succession. Lili quit corporate life to focus on writing and so far is loving every minute of it. Her other loves in life include her gorgeous husband and beautiful daughter, good coffee, Tarantino movies and spending hours on Pinterest.
