THE FIRST NOVEL OF THE BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD
“Dark fantasy lovers, you just got served” (New York Times Bestselling Author Lynn Viehl). Return to where it all began—in the first novel in the phenomenal Black Dagger Brotherhood series by #1 New York Times bestselling author J. R. Ward....

The only purebred vampire left on the planet and the leader of the Black Dagger Brotherhood, Wrath has a score to settle with the slayers who killed his parents centuries ago. But when his most trusted fighter is killed—orphaning a half-breed daughter unaware of her heritage or her fate—Wrath must put down his dagger and usher the beautiful female into another world.
Racked by a restlessness in her body that wasn’t there before, Beth Randall is helpless against the dangerously sexy man who comes to her at night with shadows in his eyes. His tales of the Brotherhood and blood frighten her. Yet his touch ignites a dawning new hunger—one that threatens to consume them both....
INCLUDES A NEW LETTER FROM J. R. WARD

The Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward has been one of my favorite series since it’s release.  Who doesn’t love a group of kickass vampires who happen to all be very well endowed, and know how to use their ‘weapons’.  We Black Dagger readers all have our favorite brother, and we can debate the merits of why our brother is the best.  But like you I need something to fill the brother void, as I wait for the next book to come out.  Well I have a recommendation for you.  The series is Immortal Guardians by Dianne DuvallThe Immortal Guardians, like the brothers, are a group of warriors fighting against evil,  and they have the camaraderie that is present in Ward’s novels.  Duvall’s book are reminiscent of Ward’s first Black Dagger Brotherhood books, when they were paperbacks.  I highly recommend this series as a fun vampire read. The men are sexy and have dark past that need lightened up by the love of a good woman.  Eternity can be lonely. Best of all at the time of this posting most all of Duvall’s series is on Kindle Unlimited.

I love J.R. Ward! I also read The Dark Hunters and the spin off series The Chronicles of Nick by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Immortal Guardians sound really good! I will have to check it out

I have read the Black Dagger Brotherhood series several times, I have also read the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurel K Hamilton several times. I also enjoyed reading the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris several times too. I just finished reading the Shadow Falls series by C C Hunter, not nearly as intense as J R Ward nor Laurel K Hamilton but a nice, mellow little series.
